About Us

We set up MySchoolLights.com in 2008 with two goals in mind. First, we wanted to help families like ours to easily find CFLs at a good price to meet our lighting needs. And second, we wanted to help schools and other groups offer environmentally friendly fundraisers to supplement or replace the ones we saw coming home from school. Rather than buying more wrapping paper, candles, popcorn, or candy we wanted our school to offer something more earth friendly. The fact that CFLs actually save 75% of the electricity used by old-fashioned incandescent bulbs makes them good for the home budget and good for the environment.

We offer a wide range of CFLs. We plan to add holiday LED light strings as the holidays approach. Our goal is to deliver great value with a broad product range and the convenience of ordering when and where it's convenient for you. The only thing we don't do for you is screw in the bulbs.

We are located in Pennsylvania but ship to all 50 states. As an internet retailer we only charge sales tax in PA, an added savings for our customers from all other states.
